Ronald McDonald

Martha, Darrin's Mom couldn't resist getting a snapshot with him!

Ronald was one of the biggest hits of the night at Taste of the Town! Here is Victoria, Lilly and their friend Sarah posing with him.

Taste of the Town 2008 25th Anniversary

The Taste of the Town was held last night at the convention center. It was a huge success. This is the biggest annual fundraiser for Lilly and Victoria's school, St. Andrew Catholic School.
Its a huge event that takes all year to plan and the help of every student and family member. It is truly a labor of love for us all, and it feels like a big family throwing a big party! The kids sell tickets and sodas, bus tables, work the door, etc. The parents plan, decorate, and do all the rest. The point is, everyone chips in for the fundraiser and its such a heartwarming thing to b a part of.

Victoria Singing in the Horry County Idol Contest

Victoria sang Hannah Montana's "Best of Both Worlds" and did a fantastic job. She didn't place in the contest though, and she is hoping to go back next week to give it another shot. Lilly was a little shy about getting up there, but I know she would have knocked 'em dead.

The farm guide was very thorough in teaching us all about the workings of the farm.

It was a great day!

Victoria's Birthday Dinner

While Lilly was at gymnastics practice, Darrin and I took Victoria to her favorite restaurant for her Birthday Dinner. We went to Yamato Japanese Steakhouse, then walked around Broadway and had some good quality time together. She loves to climb on these dinosaurs?!?

Victoria Gets Pounded for Her Birthday!

At the end of practice, the coach hangs the birthday girl upside down and the rest of the gymnasts pound her with the foam blocks from the pit.

Victoria's Birthday! October 1st, 2008

Victoria's 5th Birthday! Her class has a sspecial T-shirt for the birthday kids. Victoria was looking forward to her turn, and she was so proud to wear the "Birthday Shirt" all day long at school. We brought in some homemade chocolate chip cookies for her to share with her classmates in celebration .
We are having a joint birthday party for Lilly and Victoria on the day after Halloween. A great big spooky party!

Grandparent's Day at St. Andrew's September 27th 2008

Nana & Pappy enjoyed their luncheon with Victoria.

This is what Victoria had to say about why she loves her grandparents.

The children put on a little production for the grandparents. It was all very cute!
