Today we went with our friends Cristy, Mia and Emme, Lori, Wyatt, Evan, Lanie and Kenzie to Cristy's Ocean Club for some fun in the sun, lunch and good times. We had lunch overlooking the beach, then we headed back over to the pool for a hula hoop contest and a dance contest. The kids had a blast!

Birthday Dinner

Darrin's Birthday Dinner was held at Mongolian Grill, a new restaurant in North Myrtle Beach. They have lots of raw, fresh meats and veggies, you make make your selections and they cook it for you on a huge round grill. Its a great concept, and they even had sushi, so I was VERY happy!

Darrin's Birthday!!!

Darrin's Birthday was July 22nd, and the girls and I decided to bake hime a cake. They did all the work, Victoria cracked the eggs, Lilly prepped the pans , they both ran the mixer and lcked the beaters and bowl. They were so proud! Then they blew up tons of balloons and we set them on the table along with the cake. We surprised him! They were so tickled. Here are some pictures.

An Evening Bike Ride

Our house.

Brittany, Lilly and Victoria.
We had a busy day going to Birthday Parties. The first was a Glam Jam for Sara. She turned 7. Her Momma, my friend Carrie, had a great party for her at her salon. Pictures to follow on a later post.

Then this afternoon was Brittany's party. Our neighbor and friend who also turned 7. She got a new bike, hence the evening bike ride! The weather has been so strange with this Tropical Storm hanging out over the ocean nearby that the sky has been the most beautiful color. I took some quick shots of the kids riding their bikes.

Gymnastics Practice at the Beach

Friday, July 18th, all the competitive gymnasts met at the beach for practice. They ran up and down the beach, and did a zillion back hand springs on the sand. It was such a beautiful day!
Lanie made Victoria into a mermaid.
Alexis flips while Coach Brodie looks on.

This is an extrememly talented group of young girls.

More back flips.

Pool and Pizza Party

Our friends The Lowrie's came home from Michigan and the kids were dying to see each other, so we had everyone over for a play date, which turned into hot tubbing and pizza! So much fun! Spur of the moment parties are always the best.

Lanie, Evan, Victoria, Kenzie, Lilly and Brittany are having a great time!

Evan and Victoria have a "thing" going. They are 4. Kenzie likes to encourage them.

Victoria seems to end up next to Evan in every picture!

Kenzie then puts a baby in the picture. She's so bad!

Now Victoria is feeding the baby some pizza.

Heidi and Rory's House

The girls and I went to visit our friends in the country on Saturday and had the best time. The Ross' are expecting their 3rd baby any day now and they have a wonderful home out in the country on lots of land and its loaded with everything big and little kids alike enjoy! A pool, hot tub, trampoline, playground, sand lot, and more! Heidi's sister and brother-in-law and their kids joined in on the fun, (Holly, Mark, Rosie and Colby). We had a relaxing day by the pool until we got rained out, then the fun moved inside. Heidi showed me all the great things she got for the new baby (a little boy, named Dawson). Here are some pictures.

Day of Fun

Last week we had a little pool party because Darrin had some extended family in town for the week. The kids had a great time and of course I took a few pictures to commemorate the occasion!

4th of July 2008

We spent the 4th of July at Barefoot Resort with Darrin's family, Darrin had to work at the restaurant, unfortunately. First up was a pool party at the Resident's Club. They had great food, a clown, and games for the kids.

Lilly entered the Hula Hoop Contest and came in 3rd Place.
Next was the Limbo Contest and Lilly was warming up for that one!

She won of course!

Her prize was a brand new beach towel! She is very proud!

Lilly had her face painted. She won the beads around her neck in a diving competition.

Victoria is showing off her face painting and the beads she got in the diving contest.
