Lilly's gymnastics team had a "mock" meet with real USAG judges to critique their routines and help them correct their errors before their actual meet at Silverbells Invitational in Charleston, SC on the 13th of December. This was sort of a dress rehearsal for the beginning of the meet season. She was a bit nervous, but she did really well and is now looking forward to her next competitions.

Saturday, October 25th, 2008 we went to see High School Musical 3 with all our girlfriends! Above you see Mia, Lilly, Gianna, Emme, and Victoria. The movie was "AWESOME!!" After we met up with Sara and Carrie for a walk around the Fall Harvest Festival that was going on down at Market Common here in Myrtle Beach. We has a horse-drawn carriage ride, ate some candy and walk around. It was lots of fun!

Halloween Party Oct. 18th, 2008
There are some people who take Halloween very seriously, I am among them. Its one of my favorite holidays! These people, friend of friends, have a huge Halloween Party every year and it takes 3 days to decorate! I wanted to come see for myself and maybe help out a bit. Lilly was a gymnastics practice, so Victoria and I headed over and had the best time. Here are some of the pictures we took.

Taste of the Town 2008 25th Anniversary
The Taste of the Town was held last night at the convention center. It was a huge success. This is the biggest annual fundraiser for Lilly and Victoria's school, St. Andrew Catholic School.
Its a huge event that takes all year to plan and the help of every student and family member. It is truly a labor of love for us all, and it feels like a big family throwing a big party! The kids sell tickets and sodas, bus tables, work the door, etc. The parents plan, decorate, and do all the rest. The point is, everyone chips in for the fundraiser and its such a heartwarming thing to b a part of.
